(CNN) -- [Updated 4 p.m. Monday, October 31] A woman and three children enjoy the waterfront last week in Doha, Qatar.
Across the water are budding skyscrapers in Doha's financial district. A variety of infrastructure projects are under way in Qatar, which is set to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
Many are concerned about Qatar's intense summer heat making it difficult -- even dangerous -- for the players who will be taking part in the competition. But tournament organizers say they will air condition every stadium.
There might also be remote-controlled artificial clouds designed by researchers at Qatar University.
"JonG80" was the first CNN.com reader to correctly answer Doha in our photo challenge. Well done!
