(CNN) -- Alexander Noren continued to re-write the record books at the Scandinavian Masters after a stunning 63 at Bro Hof Slott Saturday saw his lead extended to 11 shots going into the final round.

The Swedish star shaved two shots of the previous course record in his native Stockholm and has the joint second biggest lead in European Tour history.

Only South Africa's Retief Goosen, who forged 13 shots clear at the 2002 Johnnie Walker Classic, has been further ahead.

The in-form Noren, bidding for his second Tour win of the season and third overall, started the third round three shots clear of Shiv Kapur.

He was challenged early in his round as American star Bubba Watson opened up with three birdies.

But once Noren had got his first birdie of the day at the fifth, he never looked back as carded seven birdies and an eagle.

His final improvement to par came at the 18th where he received a free drop from under the stands after hooking his drive and duly hit the approach to six feet.

He holed the birdie putt to go to 20-under overall, with Watson on nine-under his nearest challenger.

"Unreal, obviously," Noren told the official European Tour website.

"It was an amazing feeling. I never thought it would be possible to shoot these scores. Every shot went the way I wanted."

Meanwhile, Japan's Ai Miyazato carded a fine 67 to take the third round lead in the Evian Masters in France.

Miyazato picked up five birdies in a blemish-free round for a 13-under total in the LPGA tournament.

Four players shared second place two shots behind, Americans Stacy Lewis and Angela Stanford, South Korea's Hong Ran and the halfway leader, Japan's Miki Saiki.
