Tech Check podcast: Is Spotify all that?

(CNN) -- On this week's Tech Check podcast, CNN's tech team discusses the hot European music service Spotify, which swam across the pond to the United States this week. Get our tips for using this service, which is available for free only by invitation for now but will launch to the broader public in coming weeks.

John Sutter, Mark Milian and Stephanie Goldberg also talk about Netflix, which caused an online hullabaloo this week when it hiked the price of its packaged DVD-rental-and-video-streaming service, which is quite popular.

We read some of your comments about Turntable.fm, a site that lets anyone become an online cartoon DJ. The discussion followed a list of tips for using the site, offered up by our netiquette columnists, Andrea Bartz and Brenna Ehrlich. Many of you thought this much-buzzed-about site is actually pretty worthless -- or that it's only useful for the unemployed and too-bored.

Finally, we also talk about Google+, the new online social network that has tech bloggers swooning but that may or may not break into the mainstream.
