Anchorage, Alaska (CNN) -- The last two of five missing men were found dead by Coast Guard rescue crews Wednesday morning.
The five, all employees of the Pacific Alaska Shellfish plant, disappeared Tuesday, along with a company-owned 20-foot aluminum skiff.
The plant manager contacted the Coast Guard Tuesday. The men had been digging for clams near Polly Creek in the Kenai Peninsula, southwest of Anchorage.
Plant workers found one of the men dead Tuesday. He was wearing a life jacket.
A Coast Guard rescue crew in a helicopter found two of the men dead Tuesday night. Both men were wearing lifejackets.
The final two men, found within a mile of the previous two, were not wearing life jackets.
The Coast Guard is working with Alaska state troopers to investigate the incident.
