Japan's cabinet resigns ahead of planned reshuffle

Tokyo, Japan (CNN) -- Japan's cabinet members have resigned ahead of a planned reshuffle, Prime Minister Naoto Kan's office said Friday.

The new cabinet was expected to be announced Friday afternoon.
