(CNN) -- A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines early Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake's epicenter was reported to be in Negros, about 360 miles south-southeast of Manila.

The earthquake had a depth of nearly 12 miles, the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
