Gunmen fatally shot three Iraqi officials Wednesday in a series of separate attacks in and around Baghdad, police said.
Attackers killed two police officers and a parliament employee while they were driving to work in three separate incidents, authorities said.
In Taji, a town north of Baghdad, a roadside bomb exploded at an army patrol Wednesday, wounding six people, including three soldiers.
In a separate attack, a car bomb killed eight people and wounded 25 others near an outdoor market in Zubaidiya town, police said.
It was unclear what group or groups committed the attacks or whether they are related.
