Catalina Escobar was a Top 10 CNN Hero in 2012. Since starting her foundation to improve children's health in 2002, she and her group have helped thousands of women and babies in Cartagena, Colombia. Her program is now being replicated in Panama and Mexico, and there are plans to expand it into three more cities in Colombia.
