(CNN) -- [Updated 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 7] The Pont des Arts in Paris is a pedestrian bridge that links the Louvre to the Institut de France, which is seen here in the distance.
The bridge sits over the Seine River and offers a fantastic view of the Paris skyline. It is also known for the love locks that people leave on its fence. Couples will often write their initials or names on the locks, attach them to the bridge and then throw the keys overboard to symbolize forever love.
A couple of years ago, many of the locks were removed. But they've now built up again to the level pictured here.
Congrats to reader "Tomirvin" for being the first to answer correctly! Many of you answered the Hohenzollern Bridge in Germany, which also has a bunch of love padlocks. There are also similar bridges in other countries.
