Locusts that recently arrived from Egypt cling to a tree in Kmehin, Israel, on Wednesday, March 6. Tens of millions of locusts have overtaken Egyptian desert land in the past few days and are heading to Israel and Jordan, according the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. The last time Israel experienced a major infestation was in 2004.
