(CNN) -- [Updated 4:15 p.m. Monday, April 1] This sand sculpture in Weston-super-Mare, England, portrays Davy Jones and Jack Sparrow, two iconic characters from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series.
It is part of the annual Weston Sand Sculpture Festival, which opened Friday and includes work from some of the world's greatest sand sculptors.
Every year there is a new theme for the sculptures. This year's theme is Hollywood, including movies such as "Jurassic Park," "Lord of the Rings" and even "The Godfather." Some of the past themes have been fairy tales, games and continents of the world; you can see photos of them here.
The sand festival is open to the public through the end of September. (Yes, the sculptures last that long.) Weston-super-Mare is in southwest England, on the Bristol Channel coast.
Congrats to Shen Ming Jiang for being the first to answer correctly in this week's photo challenge.
