In Pakistan, more election violence

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Violence hit Pakistan's volatile election campaign on Tuesday as this weekend's national polls approach.
The incidents -- the latest in a string of political attacks in Pakistan -- occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in the country's northwest.

At least six people were killed and 19 others wounded during a Pakistan People's Party rally, police said. The incident took place in the Baba Gam area of the province's Lower Dir district.
In Boaba, in the province's Hangu district, at least five people were killed and 15 wounded during a blast targeting a candidate for the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal Ur Rehman group, police said.
Elsewhere, In Lahore, famed former cricket player Imran Khan, running for prime minister, was injured when he fell off a stage during a political rally, according to Ibrarul Haq, a senior leader of Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party. The candidate was being treated for injuries at a hospital.
Elections are to be held on Saturday.
