Since Netflix's<a href='http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/30/tech/web/netflix-streaming-purge/index.html'> purge</a> went into effect on January 1, hits like "Titanic," "Flashdance" and "Top Gun" are no longer available through the streaming provider because of expiring licensing contracts. But take heart, movie fans, that makes room for some new film fare like <strong>"Breakfast at Tiffany's" </strong>(1961, pictured) and 25 more titles coming soon to a queue near you. (CNN) -- Netflix also giveth, even while it taketh away.

The company made news recently with the announcement that as of January 1, it would no longer be streaming such movie hits as "Titanic," "Flashdance" and "Top Gun" because of expiring licensing contracts.

But take heart film aficionados. Mashable is reporting that Netflix has added some movies to its streaming offerings.
