Gallacher's game – Stephen Gallacher will make his Ryder Cup debut at Gleneagles. The Scot will get the opportunity to play in front of his home crowd.
Luke loses out – Westwood's fellow Briton Luke Donald was the unlucky man to miss out after failing to convince McGinley he deserved a place.
