Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse —
Aggressive sand drift and coastal erosion led to Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse's abandonment in 1968, leaving it looking like the last standing remainder of a ghost town. Although hiking conditions are tough, it's worth going to see this dramatic view while it's still there -- the lighthouse will be consumed by the sand and sea within a decade.
