The CNN/Time Election Monitor
What is the CNN/TIME Election Monitor?
The CNN/TIME ELECTION MONITOR is a special election-year
project in which registered voters who were originally
interviewed in November, 1995 are occasionally re-
interviewed to monitor their changes in opinion leading
up to the 1996 election.
How many people were interviewed?
In November, 4,787 registered voters were interviewed,
including 1,912 voters who considered themselves Republicans.
Of those 1,912 registered Republicans, 1,002 were
re-interviewed on February 24-27. (This was the second
wave of scheduled re-interviews. Some 1,117 of those
original 1,912 respondents were also interviewed
on January 27-30.)
