Senate Foreign Relations Committee Meeting

At the request of committee members, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jesse Helms agreed to hold a meeting Friday, September 12. Committee members wanted to discuss the embattled nomination of former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld as ambassador to Mexico, but Helms indicated he won't allow discussion of the nomination.
