TWO GOOD: From now until the end of February, Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts and American Express are offering a special "holiday options" deal for their customers in Asia. Guests at participating Inter-Continental, Forum and Global Partner properties in the region can choose one of the following options--or two, if they pay with their Amex card: a room upgrade; a second guest room at 50% off; full daily breakfast; or double mileage credit with participating airlines. Ask your travel agent for further details, or find out more online at www.interconti.com.
FLY BUY: Also available from now until Feb. 28 is extra mileage credit for members of Northwest Airlines's WorldPerks program. On flights from Asia to North America, members flying in first or business class will receive 20,000 miles on top of their actual flight distance, while economy-class passengers are entitled to 12,000 bonus miles. Flights within Asia earn an extra 15,000 miles for both first and business class, while economy-class flyers receive a free flight to Japan.
