Short Cuts
HIGH SPEED: British Airways is sweetening the deal for passengers flying out of Hong Kong this month. Through March 31, anyone traveling on a first-class return ticket to London (regularly priced at up to $7,710) can add on a Concorde round trip to and from New York for an additional $100. Club World business-class passengers who buy a Hong Kong-London return ticket (up to $4,973) can also add one supersonic London-New York flight to their itinerary for $400 (but not both ways). Club World flyers also get a free trip to Manila (with seats in biz class and two nights at the Hyatt Regency) for every Hong Kong-London round-trip they make before March 31.
Visitors flying to Hong Kong in March should make sure to check out two of the year's big events: the 23rd Hong Kong International Film Festival, which screens the work of Asian directors from March 31 to April 15, and the always lively seven-a-side matches of the Credit Suisse First Boston Rugby Sevens, March 26-28.
