AIRDISASTER (www.airdisaster.com) AIR SCARE: If it took you years to get back in the pool after seeing Jaws, it may take decades to get back on a plane after a visit to airdisaster.com. This slick site offers downloadable crash videos, photographs, eyewitness reports and an enormous database of safety information. Perhaps the most chilling feature is the collection of voice-recorder files broadcasting the final moments of disaster-bound jets. INFLIGHT SAFETY (www.plsys.co.uk/~anna/inflight.html) WISE FLYER: While flying is among the safest forms of travel on the planet, it pays to know what to do in an emergency. This site, run by a former British Airways inflight-safety trainer, contains plenty of information on how to protect yourself and your companions in a survivable crash. While some of the advice may seem to be simply common sense, the tips bear repeating. ASIANOW Travel Home
