Florida has 177 pledged and 24 unpledged delegates. Of the 177 pledged delegates, 115 are district-level delegates (based on results of a given district's binding primary), 39 are at-large delegates and 23 are "party leader and elected official" (PLEO) delegates. Of the 24 unpledged delegates, 21 are PLEO delegates and three are add-ons selected by the Democratic Party's State Executive Committee on May 15, 2004.
