 Massachusetts has 93 pledged and 28 unpledged delegates. Of the 93 pledged delegates, 61 are district-level delegates (based on results of a given district's binding primary), 20 are at-large delegates and 12 are "party leader and elected official" (PLEO) delegates. Of the 28 unpledged delegates, 26 are PLEO delegates and two are add-ons chosen by the Democratic Party's state committee on May 1, 2004.
