 Texas has 195 pledged and 37 unpledged delegates. Of the 195 pledged delegates, 127 are district-level delegates (based on results of a given district's binding primary), 43 are at-large delegates and 25 are "party leader and elected official" (PLEO) delegates. Of the 37 unpledged delegates, 34 are PLEO delegates and three are add-ons selected at the state Democratic convention on June 19, 2004.
