Makes about 24 cookies
Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cream the sugar and butter together.
Add flour and mix well.
Divide into 3 or 4 equal parts, adding different-colored food coloring to each part.
Form the dreidel shapes by hand and using a straight edge like a knife. To form the "top," use a wood skewer, cut into short pieces, and cover with colored dough.
Chill cookies for at least 30 minutes.
Bake for about 25 minutes.
