(CNN) -- Columbine students have already begun healing their physical and emotional wounds.

Specialists say effective rehabilitation addresses trauma's effects on the mind and body.

CNN's Dr. Steve Salvatore visited two Colorado rehabilitation centers and reports on what the healing process entails for shooting victims.
