LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Entertainer Frank Sinatra remained hospitalized Wednesday at Cedars Sinai Medical Center amid conflicting reports about his condition.
Mitchell Fink, a contributing editor of People Magazine, reported on CNN's Showbiz Today that Sinatra is suffering from bladder cancer.
Sinatra spokeswoman Susan Reynolds would neither confirm nor deny the report.

"Out of respect for his personal request for privacy, there's no comment," she said. "He hopes and feels confident that everyone will understand."
The Associated Press reported, however, that Reynolds and hospital officials have said that Sinatra's condition is not serious.
The 82-year-old entertainer was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and a hospital spokesman said he would undergo a series of unspecified tests. Sinatra was reportedly taken to the hospital in an ambulance on a non-emergency call.

Rumors have been circulating for some time about Sinatra's health.
A year ago, he visited the hospital three times in the space of two months. He has not made a public appearance since he suffered a heart attack in January 1997.
Just a few weeks ago, Sinatra spent the night in Cedars Sinai for a checkup.
His daughter Nancy, who accepted the American Music Award of Merit for him at the American Music Awards a few nights later, joked that her father's spirits were great and that so was his appetite.
Correspondent Paul Vercammen contributed to this report.
