From Correspondent Ron Tank

HOLLYWOOD (CNN) -- After a three-year break from being a top-selling solo recording artist, Faith Hill is back. The country music star's newest album -- "Faith" -- is ranked second on Billboard's country music charts, and the single "This Kiss" is steadily rising.

It's a comeback of sorts for Hill, who first hit No. 1 with her 1993 single "Wild One." She followed that success with seven more top 10 hits over the next three years.

Then, Hill says, her life changed dramatically. She gave birth to daughter Gracie and singing took a backseat to family.

"Having a child puts everything into perspective, I believe, into the right places," Hill said. "She just brings such joy to our lives. You can't really describe it. It's just awesome."

Hill's partner in the parenting adventure is husband Tim McGraw. The couple, who recorded the award-winning duet "It's Your Love," now divide babysitting duties, one caring for their daughter when the other is busy singing.

Although there is another baby on the way, Hill still plans to stay busy with the new album and tour. Her current tour ends in July, her baby is due in August, and she plans to go back on tour in October.

Hill says her recent break from singing was not planned.

"It just kind of, now that we talk about about it, it was like, 'Wow, it has been three years,'" she said.

Now, she's hungry for more awards shows.

"During my classes in school, I'd daydream about being on stage, especially awards show nights," Hill said. "I would remember to just always make sure that that night was entirely, completely wiped of everything except my time in front of the television."
