LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Police say Athena Rolando walked into actor Brad Pitt's home, dressed herself in his clothes and stayed for 10 hours before the alarm went off.

Rolando, 19, was arrested Thursday morning in an upstairs bedroom of Pitt's home, police said. She had slipped through an open window shortly after midnight, according to a statement by the Los Angeles Police Department.

When she was arrested, the teen-ager was wearing a blue hat, green sweatshirt, black sweat pants and shoes belonging to Pitt. Police said the woman put on the clothes because she was cold.

All that was missing was the man himself. But his publicist Cindy Guagenti said Pitt, who has appeared in films including "Meet Joe Black," "12 Monkeys," "A River Runs Through It" and "Seven Years in Tibet" wasn't home at the time.

A caretaker at the house in the Santa Monica Mountains called police to report the break-in, Officer Charlotte Broughton said.

Rolando was arrested for investigation of trespassing, a misdemeanor.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
