Carrie Fisher in drug detox againLOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Carrie Fisher has voluntarily checked into a detoxification program after realizing she was addicted to prescription drugs. The actress who played Princess Leah in the "Star Wars" trilogy realized she had a problem shortly after undergoing dental surgery, publicist Carol Stone said Monday. "The combination of the prescribed medication required for manic depression and the pain medication prescribed to her recently from getting dental implants caused her to recognize the problem early on," Stone said. Fisher has been in drug rehabilitation before. Her 1985 stay inspired her best-selling novel "Postcards from the Edge," which was adapted into a hit movie. Fisher went on to write other novels. Dr. Laura's nude pics won't be pulled, judge rulesLOS ANGELES (CNN) -- A judge has refused to stop an Internet site from posting nude photographs of Dr. Laura Schlessinger. The photos of the radio therapist and author, taken decades ago, have been plastered on the Internet Entertainment Group's Web site since last week. Since the pictures have been viewed on the site 14,000 times and it would be impossible to order a recall, U.S. District Judge Dean Pregerson lifted a temporary injunction Monday. Schlessinger, known to radio listeners as "Dr. Laura," is suing Seattle-based IEG and former Southern California talk show host Bill Ballance, who took the pictures when Schlessinger was in her 20s and sold them to IEG. Oprah's friends to have a diamond ChristmasNEW YORK (CNN) -- It seems Oprah Winfrey is feeling the Christmas spirit early this year. The talk show host and actress tells "Good Housekeeping" that she had a pair of old diamond earrings broken up and made into 14 toe rings for Christmas presents for her closest girlfriends. "The earrings were too big and gaudy anyway," Oprah said in the December issue. "I can't waste toast. And I can't waste diamonds!" And that's not all. "The other day I was in the store and I saw this Kieselstein-Cord pocketbook that I loved. And I thought, 'Who else do I know who could use a nice handbag?' I decided to buy it for Diane Sawyer," she said. "I really like her a lot, so I thought I'd get it for her for Christmas. Or I could give it to her today. Because that's the day I thought about it." How much would you pay for a Rolling Stones ticket?LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- It seems the Rolling Stones will be aiming for an exclusive audience during their spring 20-show tour of the United States. Variety reports that Mick and the boys plan to charge up to $300 for seats to their concerts that will be held in the more intimate 20,000 seat arenas, rather than the cavernous stadiums attracting 60,000 to 100,000 fans like the ones being used on the band's current tour. The Stones could nab a payday of more than $30 million for the quick jaunt, adding to more than $150 million in earnings logged from their current road show.
