(CNN) -- Jerry Garcia may have joined the great gig in the sky, but the dead-head culture lives on in cyberspace.

The legendary tie-dyed band offers its own official on-line newsletter, obtainable through the Grateful Dead Almanac on the World Wide Web.

The long, strange trip continues for the band's faithful followers. The Dead-head home page index is a thorough reference and hyper-link listing of numerous fan-based Web sites created by plugged-in Dead-heads themselves. For those wishing to express their sympathies on the passing of Garcia, there is an online cyber-condolence card for sending personal thoughts to the families of Garcia and the surviving band members.
