Michael is missed so much by his family and "brothers" at his firehouse. His "brothers" have become family to his mother and father, Lucy and Michael. We thank the firemen for taking care of their every need. Michael didn't speak much of his work at home. However, he did keep a scrapbook in which he tells of the fires when he saved so many people, including fellow firemen. At his memorial service, his chief told of the times he gave an order at a fire scene and Michael, using tact, would say, "Chief, are you sure you want to do that?" Nine out of 10 times his chief would take Michael's advice, as his 26 years of experience often proved him right.

Thank God for men like firefighter Bocchino and all his fellow firefighters. They have stars in their crowns for laying down their lives for their fellow man.
