I wasn't surprised when I heard you decided to stay and help others after your fellow employees decided it was time to head for safety. That's the Chucky I will always remember. I was glad I saw you and your family that day in the park. Our prayers go out to them.

Dear Chuck, We all miss you so very much. Your friend and partner Danny thinks of you and your family every day, many times a day. We both struggle to get through. You were always the person that gave so much for children, adults and animals. We know you are with God and the angels now. Please take care of the elevators up there so we all have a smooth ride up when our time comes.

Chuck Costello was last seen running into Tower 1 at 9 a.m. on September 11 in order to help rescue people, possibly stuck in elevators. He is a hero, and I love him.
