Joe was an amazing presence, not for his height but for his personality. I worked for him at Societe Generale for five years and thought of him as my mentor and friend. I have so many wonderful memories of him and most of them are pretty lighthearted. I did have my share of laughs while working for him. He was well liked through the job and elsewhere. I just found out last Thursday and am still in shock. I will miss him very much. I've always felt it an honor to have worked for him. He was such a family man and loved his family very much.
