Incirlik Air Base
Adana, Turkey

 • Located in south-central Turkey, it was a critical base during the Cold War and Persian Gulf war.

 • Incirlik has been the home of Operation Northern Watch and its predecessor, Operation Provide Comfort, since the end of the Gulf War in 1991. Coalition aircraft patrol the Iraqi no-fly zone north of the 36th parallel in this mission.
