WTO reaches deal on farm subsidies

The World Trade Organization's summit in Hong Kong ends with economic leaders from 149 nations saying they have made progress on a far-reaching global trade pact. The summit had plenty of skeptics, as well as raucous protesters, who wanted an agreement that would help developing nations. The interim deal will end farm export subsidies by 2013 and open up markets in wealthier countries to the world's poorest nations.
