Human to Hero next meets Charles Hamelin, a speed skater from Canada.

The 29-year-old, who will be defending his Olympic titles at Sochi 2014, comes from a family of skaters -- his father is on the national selection committee and his brother is also vying for a place on the team.

Hamelin's girlfriend is also a top skater -- she won two silver medals at Vancouver and is, he says, "the only one you hear in the stands" when he's racing.
