Human to Hero next meets Joanna Rowsell, a champion cyclist from Britain.

After winning gold at the women's track event at the London Olympics, she removed her helmet to reveal she was almost totally bald.

Rowsell, who has suffered from alopecia for 15 years, ascended the podium -- watched by millions worldwide -- to collect her medal without her wig.
