(IDG) -- When new drugs undergo clinical trials, it's critical that researchers constantly monitor patients' progress, both to maintain the safety of the subjects and to keep the tests running on schedule. A new survey from clinical researcher Phase Forward finds that pharmaceutical and biotechnology scientists believe using Internet technology to monitor real-time patient data during the research process could save lives and reduce costs.
