(CNN) - Comdex/Fall '99 is the largest information technology trade show in the world. Computing professionals from around the world converge on the Las Vegas convention centers to listen to industry leaders and see the countless new products and technologies displayed by exhibitors.

This year's show was highlighted by mobile devices. The enigmatic Transmeta corporation, which includes Linux founder Linux Torvalds, revealed a little information about its upcoming Crusoe processor. The Bluetooth wireless networking technology made a debut, and Sony's deal with Palm opens the door to more integrated mobile computing.
