Aired February 25, 2000 - 1:13 p.m. ET

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

NATALIE ALLEN, CNN ANCHOR: We turn now to the Democratic race. Vice President Al Gore is campaigning right this very moment in Ohio, in Cleveland. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Eighty-eight.

GORE: Eighty-eight.

(LAUGHTER)

(APPLAUSE) Now, I want to ask you a question. What kind of -- what kind of Cub Scout was the -- was Mayor White?

(LAUGHTER)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He was just like he is now. Whatever he believed in, he didn't change his opinion about it.

(LAUGHTER)

GORE: Well, now, he...

ALLEN: Vice President Al Gore campaigning in Cleveland, Ohio, visiting some older Americans and talking about health care today. Ohio holds its primary March 7th. That's also the day of the California primary, and Gore will travel to that state later today.
