(END VIDEO CLIP)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP, FEBRUARY 27, 1991)

BUSH: Kuwait is once more in the hands of the Kuwaitis, in control of their own destiny.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

TOWRISS: And as I watched people began to, you know, to take in this monumental news to them, we began to hear down the road a lot of mechanized sounds. And we looked down the road, and sure enough here came a big column of soldiers and tanks, troops that were sort of coming into town almost as sort of the liberating soldiers. They were sitting on top of the tanks, and soldiers kind of had to sort of snake its way around CNN's satellite dish to get into Kuwait City.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP, FEBRUARY 27, 1991)

BUSH: We share in their joy, a joy tempered only by our compassion for their ordeal. Tonight the Kuwaiti flag once again flies over the capital of a free and sovereign nation and the American flag flies above our embassy. (END VIDEO CLIP)
