Man Holding at Least One Hostage in Charlotte, N.C. Office Building

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Once again out of Charlotte, North Carolina this morning, a man wearing army fatigues entered the building that you're seeing here from the helicopter position of WCNC, local television station there. Police say -- if you know the area anyway, police say that a four-block area around the Metroview office building has been cordoned off. SWAT teams are in the area. It is said that at least one person is being held hostage, possibly more inside the office building; said to be on the ninth floor there.
Again, from Charlotte, North Carolina this morning. It happened about 8:30 local time, about 90 minutes ago. We'll let you know what happened -- happens throughout the day here. Police have evacuated a number of people on lower floors, but, again, a hostage standoff reported again, continues there in Charlotte today. We'll keep you posted.
