Missing Grandmother Found in FloridaAired August 15, 2000 - 10:21 a.m. ET

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: All right, as promised, we have been able to acquire more information out of WSVN in Miami. The ambulance you are seeing leaving this road right here is carrying an 83-year-old grandmother. Her name is Tilly Tooter (ph). She has been found since missing early Sunday morning.
Apparently she left to pick up her granddaughter at the airport, was driving on 595 eastbound, if you're familiar with that area there, when her car toppled over, fell into some mangroves. Rescue crews, again, transporting her to Broward General (ph) Medical Center. This videotape here, you saw it live on CNN, just about five minutes ago.
Ms. Tooter, described as a diabetic with high blood pressure. It is said that she has not eaten in almost three days, believed to be in critical condition at this time. Also is said to have been discovered this morning by a passerby who noticed that car in the mangrove and believed to have sustained a 40-foot fall.
Again, an 83-year-old grandmother, Tilly Tooter, now being whisked away to a nearby hospital for treatment there. Described as in critical condition, also described as a diabetic. The ambulance on its way there. complete updates throughout the morning here on what's happening there in southern Florida.
