WOLF BLITZER, CNN ANCHOR: We have another story that's developing right now. For that I want to go to the Pentagon.
Jamie McIntyre is standing by with that -- Jamie.
JAMIE MCINTYRE, SENIOR PENTAGON CORRESPONDENT: Well, Wolf, Pentagon sources are telling CNN that two to four additional U.S. aircraft carriers could be dispatched to the Persian Gulf according to deployment orders that are sitting on the desk of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld has not yet signed the orders but he could do it as soon as this week. That could put as many as five or six aircraft carriers within striking distance of Iraq by next month. Already there, the Constellation and the Harry Truman. Four additional that could get orders the Kitty Hawk, Abraham Lyndon, the Theodore Roosevelt and the George Washington -- Wolf.
BLITZER: We'll be following those deployments. Thank you very much.
