ATLANTA (CNN) -- In a recent survey, Travel and Leisure magazine readers were asked to rank hotels and resorts in several different categories as the "World's Best Value"; the results indicate that value doesn't come cheap.

Of the ten worldwide "Best Hotels for Value" in the March edition of the magazine, only three are under $200 a night, with the least expensive being Quebec's Chateau Frontenac at $149. Two hotels are over $900 and the rest range between $250 - $350.

All the hotels on the best hotels for value list also rank high in other categories including: best value for less than $200 a night; best value for $200 - $300 a night; and best value for more than $300 a night.
