Sit back and think of the air miles
This is being written on board a flight from It has been a miserable summer of travel. Absolutely horrible. But then I don’t need to tell you that – we have suffered along together. (Apologies for those of you in the southern hemisphere for whom it has been winter.)
Even flying domestic has been bad. I fly from Dallas to Houston often. On several ocassions, my flight has been delayed more than 5 hours. It only takes 4 hours to drive!!!
Nope. Not Florence Nightingale, at least not according to Wikipedia:

Writing you from the South emisphere where the winter has been particularly cold this year. Nevertheless, you should try to visit us more often.
Richard Quest has been a great favourite and I watch his shows and read blogs with keen interest . However not all is lost: Lufthansa and Swiss have both cut out the middle seat in Business Class on inter-European routes and with the arrival of the A-380, almost every single airline (imagine, even US airlines!) seem to be renovating their aircraft and product
