More photos surface of Simpson's shoes
December 31, 1996Web posted at: 9:00 p.m. EST LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- A lawyer has told CNN that the families suing O.J. Simpson for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman now have access to other photographs showing the former athlete wearing shoes similar to the kind that left bloody footprints at the murder scene. The photographs were taken September 26, 1993, by E. J. Flammer Jr. at Rich Stadium near Buffalo, New York, according to Mark Cramer, Flammer's attorney. The occasion was a Miami Dolphins-Buffalo Bills football game. When Simpson took the stand in the civil case, he was asked about a photograph of the shoes taken by another photographer. "My opinion is it is a fraud," Simpson replied. Sources say lawyers for the victims' families may introduce the latest photos as evidence when the trial resumes. Simpson was cleared in 1995 of the June 12, 1994, slayings. But the victims' families claim he is liable for the deaths. Special section:Related stories:
