LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- Former President Ronald Reagan is expected to celebrate his 86th birthday Thursday with separate celebrations at his home and office in the Los Angeles area. Reagan spokeswoman Joanne Drake says Girl Scout Brownies will take him some cookies and a children's choir will go to his office to sing "Happy Birthday."

Reagan -- who revealed in 1994 that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease -- is rarely seen in public. But he makes daily visits to his office, where he works full days on various projects including his presidential library, Drake told CNN.
