LANDSTUHL, Germany (CNN) -- Three U.S. servicemen, pronounced in good shape after a month in Yugoslav custody, were being reunited with family members on Monday. "They're upbeat and eating us out of house and home," Army Col. Mike Sullivan told CNN from Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, a U.S. military hospital in Germany.
Spec. Steven Gonzales, 22, of Huntsville, Texas; Staff Sgt. Christopher Stone, 25, of Smiths Creek, Michigan; and Staff Sgt. Andrew Ramirez, 24, of Los Angeles were released on Sunday.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, who had successfully appealed to President Slobodan Milosevic to set the soldiers free and accompanied them on the trip to Germany, was on his way to Washington Monday with a letter from the Yugoslav leader to President Clinton.
