For immediate release:
As legal counsel for Lana Padilla and Joshua Nichols, I understand and appreciate the intense interest generated by the recent circulation of rumors regarding Josh being subpoenaed to appear before the federal grand jury sitting in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
However, on a previous occasion we were requested by the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Oklahoma not to comment on matters concerning the grand jury. I have agreed to cooperate with that request, and will have no further comment at this time.
